Teaching Schools
Teaching Schools are the delivery arm of the DfE. They work directly with the Department for Education to provide services to schools. These service include school improvement, Continuing Professional Development and Initial Teacher Training.
The Teaching School will play a key role in developing the work of school improvement in an increasingly school led system. In order to ensure that every school in Greater Manchester and beyond has the best access to high quality teachers, CPD and support we want every school in every Local Authority to be aligned with a Teaching School and be a member of at least one Teaching School Alliance.
