Salford Teaching School

Teaching schools in Salford

St Patrick’s Teaching School Alliance consists of a number of schools working towards the common pursuit of educational excellence. Working within Salford Local Authority, we are proud of our successful track record of supporting other schools, within our Local Authority, across Greater Manchester and beyond. We believe that in supporting the development of school leadership we continue to demonstrate our ability to empower schools, and so provide sustainable improvements that impact on student performance. Furthermore, we lead a School Direct Initial Teacher Training programme, working in conjunction with Manchester Metropolitan University, which provides a comprehensive training package for Secondary and Primary trainees.

Sacred Heart TSA was established in June 2017, we work in partnership with the Diocese of Salford and an established group of schools across Bolton (BoSCEP). We operate locally across Greater Manchester, the North West and nationally providing school support, CPD and ITT. We also offer bespoke training through our links with the North West Catholic Dioceses Training Partnership and EducareM.

We believe that the greatest single determinant of a child’s success in school is the quality of their teachers. Therefore, Sacred Heart TSA is dedicated to developing and forming our staff teams, who then in turn enable our students to flourish.
